Cerberus is one of the best bosses to farm in OSRS for GP, and it's a mid-tier boss where you have to spend some effort overcoming the boss mechanics. The boss is located in the Taverley Dungeon, and its combat level is 318.
The main reason that makes farming Cerberus very profitable is that the boss drops expensive crystals like Primordial, Pegasian, and Eternal. Defeating the boss is easy enough. With proper gear and the right tactics, you can easily make your way to start slaying this boss.

Below are the requirements for defeating Cerberus. Even if you are at the minimum threshold, it's best to make sure you are at least 43+ on prayer stats, as not using prayers properly is how most players die to Cerberus.

How to Defeat Cerberus
For Cerberus, always begin with Protect from Melee and keep DPS high using Piety or offensive ranged prayers. React instantly to ghosts by switching to the correct protection prayer as they strike, and move off lava pools immediately before resuming damage. Prayer management is critical, as Cerberus frequently drains it with her triple bark attack, so bring ample restores and use them wisely. If you fall behind or make mistakes, you can reset the fight safely by luring her back toward the doorway. Also, make sure you have all these items ready before the fight:
- 2–3 Super Combat Potions (or Ranging Potions if ranged)
- 6–7 Super Restores
- High-heal food (Sharks / Anglers)
- Prayer renewal or extra restores
- Rune Pouch (for Blood Barrage if hybrid healing)
- Emergency Teleport (Ectophial / House tab)
